Most of my "art" (which I'm not sure it ever was!) is done now at an awesome shop called Parcel, designing vintage and alternative style invitations and stationery and whatnot. None of my work is on the website (it hasn't been updated in forever) and I use mostly stock and copyright free images, but I use a lot of Photoshop to edit images to accommodate our needs. And then there's the layout, which is very important in invitations. I'll post a few examples of things I've done soon, but in the meantime, I want EVERYONE to go to the website:

We are NOT just a stationery store! Far from it! We also have wrapping paper (nice enough to hang on your wall, I swear -- I've done it [twice]), lots and LOTS of vintage paper, little kitschy knick-knacks, jewelry, greeting cards, candy, candles, and our own line of letterpressed stationery... God, so many things! And there are about 5 people involved in the entire operation, from the proprietor and collector, to the main graphic designer, the letterpress artist, and the two associates (of which I am one). We also sell handmade soft and papier-mache dolls made by a great local artist, Vanessa Brantley Newton ([link]).
If you are ever in the area, please visit! I promise, you will find something you've never seen before! It's a really special store and I'm really proud to be a part of it!
Check us out!
And again, I apologize for the website--it really doesn't showcase half the stuff that we have! But here is a flickr set of recent photos from the store... I'm not sure who this person is, actually, but it serves my purpose here!

anyway, welcome to the dark side, (renee.....) DAHLING!
